Train like A Pro: George St-Pierre Teaches You some UFC Fighting Techniques

Georges St-Pierre is undoubtedly one of the best fighters in the world. St-Pierre has cleaned out the UFC welterweight division and could go down as the greatest champion in the UFC’s history. He hasn’t lost a round in more than 3 years. He’s faster, more fit, and more efficient than other fighters. Although very physically gifted, GSP is also an incredibly hard worker in the gym. He spends hours in the gym training in Muay Thai, boxing, Brazilian jujitsu, wrestling, strength conditioning, gymnastics, and sports psychology to develop and hone his fighting skills. His goal he to become the most efficient as he stated below:
In fighting, in evolution, in life, efficiency is the key, it’s not the most powerful animal that survives. It’s the most efficient.
There is a difference between a fighter and a martial artist,” St-Pierre says. “A fighter is training for a purpose: He has a fight. I’m a martial artist. I don’t train for a fight. I train for myself. I’m training all the time. My goal is perfection. But I will never reach perfection.”
In this video, GSP shares the training tactics and drills he does during his training sessions.
